We welcome Reza Khan / Painted Diaries to the Fly family. Hear one of his new songs on the Delta In-flight "Destination: The World" show, linked at right. His new album is being finished now. His touring band is also booking February and beyond across the US.

In the liner notes for Member's Only from 1991 Reza Khan notes he, "Returned to grass roots and visited Bangladesh again. At the time I was approached by a local Label to release a CD in Bengaly based on the western influences. I worked with many local talents including several from popular bands in Bangladesh and some good friends. The songs  ...   Continue

Like The Wailers and The Skatalites, The Gladiators are one of the very few original reggae bands to not only survive but succeed over the decades, one of the rare Jamaican groups that are actually a great band.

The unique sound of The Gladiators started with Albert Griffiths, rising from poverty in Trench Town with "Hello Carol" topping the Jamaican chart in 1968.

The Gladiators continue with the "Father and Sons" album. Faithful to their roots delivering reggae music full of heart, force and courage. Featuring Albert Griffiths' two sons, Anthony on drums and Al on lead vocals ("virtually indistinguishable from his father").

The Gladiators have recently garnered tremendous response touring throughout Europe, Brazil, the South Pacific and Australia to as many as 70,000 fans in mostly sold-out  ...   Continue

Ansel Collins, the legendary musician on seemingly most of the great Jamaican music since his 1971 number one hit, Double Barrel, can now be booked through Fly on the Wall.

Ansel is available for double billing with The Gladiators.

Few artistes have contributed more to Jamaican music than Ansel Collins, as one of the musicians who have helped form the music over the last 40 years.

In 1971, with vocalist Dave Barker, he recorded "Double Barrel" for the Winston Riley Techniques label. The tune went to No 1 in the UK and young Ansel found himself, fresh from Jamaica, in the history books and on "Top of the Pops". The first ever all-male duo to top the UK Pop charts saw the follow-up "Monkey Spanner" hit the top 10.

Aaron has joined Reverend Peyton's Big Damn Band. Drumming for the Rev. has him on the road, including the Warped Tour, for about 250 shows this year. He is available along the tour route for solo shows...

"When Persinger headed to the studio to record the five songs for "Just a Voice," he was surrounded by an all-star cast of back-up musicians; including KENNY ARONOFF, along with bassist TOBY MYERS, both of whom have worked extensively with John Mellencamp, and JASON WILBER, lead-guitarist for John Prine’s touring band.
The EP was recorded at Echo Park studios in Bloomington, owned by Mike Wanchic, long-time guitarist for Mellencamp. Persinger said working with Aronoff, Wilber, and

The Giving Tree Band is available for festivals, PAC's, eco-seminar speaking and
performances worldwide.

The Giving Tree Band planted its roots more than five years ago, built on a foundation of Americana and a sustainable philosophy. The Chicago Blue Grass and Blues Festival is not quite the one year anniversary of their first release, Unified Folk Theory. Since then, TGTB have been the first band ever reviewed in Mother Earth News. They have recorded 2.5 more albums: the ‘world’s greenest album’; a Concert for Peace celebrating the Dalai Lama; and several songs inspired by the upcoming movie, "Public Enemies" with Johnny Depp as John Dillinger. TGTB submitted the songs live

Isaac Haile Selassie can perform acoustically or with a band.

Isaac has joined the "Reggae Masters Live Tour" for March and April with Kingman and Jonah featuring 'Roots Master' Claudius Linton and Ansel 'Double Barrel' Collins. This is a Motown-style revue with the Kingman and Jonah band backing all three headliners.

In the annals of reggae music and its devotion to Emperor Haile Selassie, one thing becomes striking by its absence: the lack of Ethiopian voices giving thanks and praise to the Almighty God through the teachings of His Majesty. Now, from Addis Ababa, by way of Southern California, comes a striking new voice whose direct links to the King of Kings are stronger than any other singer and player of instruments this century has known.

Isaac has performed at the Sierra Nevada World Music Festival (Marysville, CA) Roots Mountain Reggae  ...   Continue

We first worked publicity for
Green Room Rockers on their first tour to California.
They continue to break new ground with their big sound
so well suited to soul, reggae, rock and festival sets.

Based in Indiana, Midwest bookings are constant,
national touring and festivals book seasonally.

Double bookings are available with Coyaba and other clients.

Stax & Studio One. Otis Redding & Toots Hibbert. Motown & Kingston. Soul & Reggae. The ‘&’s’ are unnecessary; same struggles, aspirations, and trenchtowns. True, the beats used by both were presented through different influences, but the heart is the same.

That heart, in all its gritty real world applications, struck a chord with and drives the sound of Green Room Rockers, their new album Hoosier Homegrown and their current tour. The tour supports the aptly named Hoosier Homegrown, recorded and produced by GRR guitarist, Ron Shoemaker; an amazing effort for
