Press Release JamRock House  BIO Images

The "JamRock House" is built on a foundation of Dancehall, House and Tribal African beats. The musical chefs add Latin Salsa, Chinese, Indian and other world flavors to match the many moods of music and artists recording atop the JamRock House foundation. Sizzla, Jah Cure, Tanya Stephens, Mr. Easy, HotShot Squad and more are already JamRocked and awaiting release.

The debut single is out now. Titled "Nice and Easy" the intro to JamRock House is from Yatta Stoky (Featuring Jahmali). Yatta’s mentors, Dennis Brown and Errol Dunkley along with Jah Cure, Capelton and more are among the artists he has played with. JamRock House producer Trevor Sugar first saw Yatta as lead singer of Safari on tour with Third World. Chosen as the first look at a diverse rhythm, "Nice and Easy" has funky 60's organ sound, driving percussion, and a hint of Salsa atop the JamRock House base (er, bass!).

Rohan "Shugs" Manning grew up in the UK and Jamaica with roots, rock, reggae and world beats. Rohan is a seasoned Reggae producer and engineer and runs First Foundation Muzik. Trevor Sugar grew up in the states studying everything from The Orb to Black Uhuru on his turntables. Trevor records, produces, and engineers at his Many Moods of Music studios near Miami, FL. Rohan’s recordings of these great performers and his rhythm blend with it’s trinity of styles formed into the Jamrock House signature sound when Trevor put the collective vision into his production lab.

Meanwhile, Rohan is in the clubs of Manchester, London, Birmingham and more introducing the morphed style. Familiar to locals as Funky House with the rhythm of Dancehall and Tribal drums along with hints of many more cultures sprinkled in the mix, JamRock House will release official material in the US following the UK push.
