THE SEEDS OF EVOLUTION: South Florida Beach DUB Allstars? East Coast

Press Release The Seeds of Evolution  BIO Images

The Seeds of Evolution are kicking off a big East Coast "Tropical Life Tour" with some major stops in New York, New Jersey, Virginia and finishing it off with a big homecoming back in Florida. There will be shows all down the panhandle throughout July.

The SOE has a Funk style with a Reggae feel, built around instrumentation that makes for a must-see live show. Pouring their souls into their energetic sounds of island hip-hop styling, SOE dubbed their form of funk, ‘Hydroponic Soul.’

Brad and Ron Pawlak are brothers that have come together to form the string parts of SOE, leading the rhythm and grooves. Along with Jae Conway, the lyrical mastermind behind SOE and Andres Roa who is one of the most adaptable percussionists in Southern Florida.

"We found it essential to bounce from those comforts
[the member’s hometowns] and converge together
in the melting pot of diversity that is South Florida...
So we really had no choice but to be different
than the norm... We took all of our influences,
combined them, and decided to ride the wave and
see where it took us"

- Brad Pawlak

The SOE’s funky rhythms and presence on stage creates an atmosphere that is conducive to people of all backgrounds coming together and jamming to the music, whether it be in the tropical heat or feeling like you are there.

"We never know who we might see...
Dreads, Punks, Goths, Metalheads.
white, black, red, brown, purple, yellow...
It’s all cool with us...
As long as you're there to groove,
we're down to groove it for you..."

- Jae Conway

There are not many bands with this energy and conscious party vibe that are driven by a stand-up bass... The Roots, the Beastie Boys... Also mixing sounds ranging from Dispatch to Sublime, The Seeds of Evolution are also the fruit of evolution. Long live the garden.
